Carolyn Parkes is an English private client lawyer with over twenty years of experience in this area.
Carolyn spent thirteen years in Monaco working for a local company as Head of Legal Services before taking up a position in Singapore for a large multinational company as Head of Private Clients for the Asia-Pacific region. After two years in Singapore and having missed Monaco that bit too much, Carolyn returned to Monaco to continue her career in Europe, setting up Bespoke with Judith Hillen.

Judith Hillen qualified as a corporate lawyer in London over 18 years ago. Having worked for successful London law firms, Judith has extensive experience in the areas of commercial, corporate and corporate finance law.
Since moving to Monaco some years ago Judith has assisted both resident and non- resident clients on their international commercial and private matters, often acting for entrepreneurs and privately wealthy individuals with a truly global footprint.
Judith assists clients in all aspects of their life, including advising on the set up and running of single and multi-family offices, restructuring of global assets, acting as a director and trustee of structures, purchase, sales and financing of properties, yachts and jets as well as corporate structural advice. Judith has many years experience both in private practice and as “In-house counsel” for clients. She frequently travels wherever is required. Her experience is across a wide variety of market sectors including commercial and private property, yachting, I.T, renewable energy and private jets.
Judith works frequently on large commercial cross-jurisdictional transactions assisting with initial negotiations, due diligence, advising on appropriate corporate structures and special purpose holding vehicles. This extends to project managing corporate deals, where she instructs and supervises relevant third-party advisors on behalf of the principal. She oversees all aspects of transactions and operational processes ensuring that the projects run to budget and within allocated timescales.
She also has a lot of experience managing clients’ litigation matters thus removing
the stressful, time-consuming and negative aspects of this work, often negotiating successful settlements on a client’s behalf whilst working with private practice litigators.
Qualifications:
Nigel Rivers, who is based in Bespoke’s Hong Kong office, qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1989. He practiced law in London, becoming partner of a law firm in 1991. Nigel specialized in corporate and commercial law, with a niche area in sports and entertainment.
In 1998, helped found a new Formula One motor racing team, called British American Racing. He was involved in creating, implementing, and monitoring the commercial and regulatory arrangements for the team, working directly with the Team Principal as part of the senior management of the sports franchise. The role involved Nigel in the contractual arrangements
with drivers, sponsors and merchandise partners, as well as with the governing body of the sport.
Nigel then established his own law practice to advise athletes and companies involved in sport, particularly in motor racing and sports management with clients in Formula One, Formula 3, DTM, Le Mans Racing, and NASCAR.
In 2008, Nigel and his family moved to Asia and settled in Hong Kong. He joined TMF Group. By early 2014, he was the Head of Private Client Services. TMF Group being the largest global independent trust and fiduciary service provider to private clients with over 6,000 staff spread across 120 offices in over 80 countries.
In April 2016, Nigel established Capital Solutions in Hong Kong and Singapore to deliver
consultancy and advisory services to clients in relation to their wealth asset needs providing
holistic and integrated solutions for private wealth assets in addition to his work with Bespoke which is complementary.

Andrew has worked in the Trust and Fiduciary sector for over 20 years, both with independent financial services organisations as well as large bank-owned trust companies. Andrew started his career in Guernsey working for Abacus Financial Services, which was the largest independent Trust services provider in the Channel Islands. Andrew focused his attention on the private client sector, leading the administration team after Abacus was acquired by Royal Bank of Canada.
In 2007, Andrew decided to relocate to Hong Kong and took up a commercial position with Equity Trust. He spent 6 months on secondment to the Jersey office helping to manage their client base before eventually relocating to Hong Kong. Andrew progressed through the business and eventually became the head of the Private Client business there.
In 2016, Andrew then moved to Singapore leading the Private Client business at TMF. Subsequently he went on to head up a newly established UHNW team at Credit Suisse Trust working with some of Asia‘s wealthiest families.
Thereafter Andrew became the Head of Private Wealth at IQEQ where he helped to reshape the Trust and Family Office business in Singapore.
With Andrew‘s constant presence between Singapore and Hong Kong, he along with Nigel ensure Bespoke‘s clients’ needs in Asia are covered.
